Satinsmith is an independent project. This notice covers this website, the waitlist and the Mac app. Questions or requests: support@tempore.net.
If you join, we store the email address and the survey answers you choose to give (Mac type, machine brand, current software, priority, price range, beta interest and any note), plus the date you joined. We use them to email you about Satinsmith (development updates, beta invitations and the launch) and to decide what to build first. We do not sell or rent them, and we do not store your IP address with your signup. Submissions are stored in Cloudflare’s Workers KV, in an account controlled by the project owner. We keep them until the launch emails are done or you ask us to remove them.
To be removed or to see what we hold about you, email support@tempore.net from the address you signed up with. We aim to act within 30 days.
The site has no analytics, advertising scripts or cookies. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver the pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy policy.
The app needs no account. It has no analytics and no crash-report uploader, and your designs and artwork stay on your Mac. Two optional features use the network: automatic update checks, which are off by default, and license activation. When you enter a license key, the app contacts Freemius, our payment and licensing provider, and sends the key, a random installation identifier and the app version. It does not send your Mac’s name, serial number, artwork or design files. The key and identifier are kept in your Keychain.
Nothing is for sale yet. When licenses go on sale, payment is handled by Freemius as merchant of record: it collects your payment details, tax information and email address under its own privacy policy. We do not see or store card numbers.
